Cancer may have robbed 29 year old Navi Indran Pillai off her twenties and time but it definitely did not dull her spirit and fight.

Navi was first diagnosed with breast cancer at the tender age of 22. While her peers were torn between selecting colleges and planning their life ahead, Navi was hospital bound, receiving highly potent treatment and fighting for her health. After vigorous treatment, Navi went into remission, just to be diagnosed with cancer again in 2017. This time she was diagnosed with  Stage 4 (terminal stage) cancer that had spread to her liver and spine.

She once again braved through potent cytotoxic drugs to treat her condition and within 6 months, she was completely cancer free. After her miraculous journey, Navi now works with the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) to empower other cancer patients with their fight.

In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month, Navi will be performing a Bharatanatyam solo recital called Dhanvantrim Nruthyam #kissedbycancer. This fundraiser event is hoping to aid Navi with her lifelong cancer treatment. Dhanvantrim Nruthyam #kissedbycancer will be held on 12th Oct at the Shantanand Auditorium, Temple of Fine Arts, Kuala Lumpur from 6.01PM onwards.

Tickets are available at the following prices:

Silver: RM30
Gold: RM50
Platinum: RM75
Diamond: RM100
