Director Mysskin is all set to begin the shoot for his next Thupparivalan 2 in London. The team will be shooting for 45 days there. It was not long ago that pictures of Mysskin scouting locations in London had gone viral on the internet.
Thupparivalan 2 will have Vishal reprising his character as the detective and sociopath Kaniyan Pongundran. The rest of the star cast is yet to be announced. The film will be produced by Vishal’s production house. Music for the film is likely to be by Isaignani Ilaiyaraja. The original, Thupparivalan (2017) had Vishal, Prasanna, Andrea Jeremiah, Vinay Rai and Anu Emmanuel in the lead. The film received critical acclaim from the audience and critics alike.
Many also say that there are references from Sherlock Holmes and that certain scenes were copied. Well, it is nothing new to see famous film directors copy and lift stories from other people’s work. It is unfair and disgusting. However, let’s hope that Mysskin works on the originality for the second film.
