Veteran actor Delhi Ganesh is a part of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’ and has already shot some of his portions in the film. The cast and crew of Shankar’s ‘Indian 2’ have now camped in Gwalior for a 12 days shooting schedule after completing the shooting in Bhopal.
Actor Delhi Ganesh, who has teamed up with Kamal Haasan quite a number of times in films like Apoorva Sagodharargal, Avvai Shanmugi and Michael Madana Kamaraj among others, has now revealed that when he was offered a role in ‘Indian 2’, he was happier about working with director Shankar than sharing screen space with Kamal Haasan as this is first film with Shankar.
Interestingly, Delhi Ganesh has already shot some scenes for the film and it was with the 90 year old Kamal Haasan, playing the role of Senapathy in the film. He also has said that he is very proud of being a part of the film, be it one or two scenes also.
Produced by Lyca Productions, the film has Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Vidyut Jamwal, Delhi Ganesh, and Nedumudi Venu in pivotal characters. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in as the music composer for the film and Ravi Varman is handling the cinematography. The first part released in 1996 and had Kamal Haasan was seen in dual roles of Chandru and Senapathy, who questions the wrong.
