The inaugural International Carnatic Music Festival 2019 (ICMF) will be taking place this month, organised by Sugam Culture & Heritage Foundation.
Held from the 17th to the 24th of November 2019, this music festival aims to unite artistes, practitioners, students and lovers of Carnatic music and dance together. Staying true to their mission of transforming communities through arts and culture, Sugam is hosting a slew of carnatic singers and dancers throughout the duration of the festival.
A total of seven events will take place across the nation’s capital during the ICMF, including performances by Padma Bhushan Sudha Ragunathan and the young man who made it viral, Rahul Vellal. Some of these events require tickets, while others are free.
