Twenty one established and upcoming singers have created a mind blowing a capella tribute to veteran crooner P Susheela, in conjuction with her 84th birthday.
Led by Swetha Mohan, the a capella ensemble comprises of her mother, Sujatha Mohan, along with senior singers Srinivas, Unnikrishnan, Anuradha Sriram, Vijay Yesudas, Benny Dayal, Haricharan, Naresh Iyer and Aalaap Raju.
The younger generation of singers include Uthara Unnikrishnan, Sharanya Srinivas, Rakshita, Sireesha, Aparna, Sreekanth Hariharan, Anirudh Suswaram, Sudharshan, Vaishagan and Lakshmipriya.
Popular American Indian singer, Devan Ekambaram, the smooth voice behind the tune Ore Nyabagam in Minnale, has made his comeback with this tribute. Devan has single-handedly managed the vocal arrangement and is the vocal bass for the medley of tunes.
The beatboxing for the clip was done one of the most talented rappers in Tamil Nadu, Bmac Mastamind.
The medley of four songs were from different eras, so this is one of those clips that will excite Tamil music fans of all ages. They sang the tunes Malarndhum Malaradha, Kannukku Mai Azhagu, Poo Pookkum Maasam, Azhagiya Thamizh Magal Ival.
