Actor Trisha, is one of the most successful survivors of the Tamil film industry, and she has just completed her seventeen years in the field. Trisha continues to break the “life span” myth of actresses in the industry. 
The support from media and love from millions of fans across the globe with no doubt makes Trisha the ‘Namma Veetu Ponnu’ of south Indian films. In her eighteenth year, Trisha has an awesome line-up of amazing projects in her kitty.
She will be seen playing a pivotal role in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan. She has also been paired opposite Telugu Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s new action entertainer with Koratala Siva and a Malayalam biggie with Superstar Mohanlal directed by Jeethu Joseph. Besides these three star-studded films, Trisha’s action thriller Raangi is also getting ready for an early 2020 release.
The teaser of Raangi has generated positive response on the internet. 2019 was a memorable year for Trisha as she won almost all the major awards in south for her outstanding performance in 96. The last among her accolades will be the Filmfare Award (south) for Best Actress on Dec 21 for which she is the front runner.
Apart from her film commitments, being a UNICEF advocate, Trisha is also actively spreading awareness on how to save children from domestic violence and abuse. So 2020 is going to be a super busy year for Trisha with several biggies, shoots, and travel.
