Sivakarthikeyan fans, rejoice! His upcoming film Hero, might just have a sequel.
During the audio launch, Hero director Siva spilled beans that a sequel of the film is on the cards and the film will turn into a franchise if it becomes a super hit. He also revealed that the film will have an 18 minutes sequence for which Yuvan has composed a non-stop background score.
Yuvan Shankar Raja said, “I’ve done many re-recordings, but for the first time, we’ve done this lengthiest piece – 18-minute score. I think it will be the longest score ever. I don’t know if it’s been done before in India, but this is the longest I know of”.
Kalyani Priyadarshan, daughter of veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan, plays Siva’s love interest in the film and this film marks the Tamil debut of Kalyani. The film also stars Arjun Sarja, while Abhay Deol has been roped in to play the antagonist.
Vivek and Robo Shankar have been roped in to play pivotal roles.
On another note, Sivakarthikeyan also has a project with director Nelson Dhilipkumar of Kolamavu Kokila fame titled Doctor. The film would be produced by KJR Studios in association with Siva’s home banner Sivakarthikeyan Production in which he had earlier bankrolled Kanaa & Nenjam Undu Nermai Undu Odu Raja.
