Internationally acclaimed makeup artist Jastina will be part of a sharing session for brides to be, discussing their makeup, outfit choices, as well as other areas of grooming prior to their big day. This will be the chance for future brides to pick Jastina’s brains on how to prepare for a wedding when it comes to skincare and the likes.

Vickneswaran
Photographer Vickneswaran of VIP Studios will be sharing his thoughts on The Science Behind Hindu Wedding Rituals. This talk is open to all, and is a result of Vickneswaran’s years of collating information on the Hindu wedding ritual from those he deems experts in the field.
Vickneswaran will touch on topics such as the nalanggu and use of metti, right down to the reason an aunty feels the need to hold the thaali in place when the groom presents it to the bride.
As a reiki healer, Vickneswaran is intrigued by how the positive energy from the rituals can affect the practitioner’s physical and mental well-being, and he is looking forward to sharing these reasons with the couples who are about to get hitched.
Vickneswaran’s talk, The Science Behind Hindu Wedding Rituals, will be held on the 4th of January at 2.00 pm.
Malaysian Indian Wedding Photographers and Videographers Exhibition
The Malaysian Indian Wedding Photographers and Videographers (MIWPV) will be exhibiting at Namme Veetu Kalyanam. Couples can study the award winning photographs from the prestigious MIWPV Convention held in 2019.
To those getting married, this is exhibition is unmissable. Not only will this be a fabulous opportunity to get some ideas for a your preferred pre-wedding and wedding photography styles, you will also be able to see who the award winning photographers are, and what they are capable of.
The MIWPV Convention 2019 winners photographs will be on display throughout the three days of the expo this weekend.
