RIP Kobe Bryant: Stars Mourn NBA Legend

The death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant has hit our Tamil entertainment stars hard.

Bryant, 41, a five-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, was reported dead on Sunday morning along with four others in a helicopter crash in Southern California just hours before several NBA games were set to tip off. His 13 year old daughter Gianna also perished in the incident.

AR Rahman was attending the Grammys on Sunday where a tribute to the late basketball legend was included at the last minute.

Rahman posted a picture of host Alicia Keys who paid tribute to Bryant at the start of the show. The event was held in the Staples Centre, Los Angeles.

Benny Dayal, too appeared to be shattered with the loss of Bryant. He took to social media to mourn the loss of his idol.
