Regardless of what you think of Bala’s Naachiyar (we found it disappointing), it can’t be denied that GV Prakash delivered an excellent, earnest performance. It looks like his efforts are paying off and projects are starting to line up. It is rumoured that GV Prakash will be soon acting in director AL Vijay’s next yet-untitled project.
This will not be the first time the acclaimed director has worked together with GV Prakash. Previously, the pair collaborated in films like Thalaivaa, Deiva Thirumagal, and Thaandavam. AL Vijay is one of the most revered directors working in South Indian cinema today. His films Madrasapattinam and Deiva Thirumagal managed to receive nominations for a plethora of awards including the ‘Filmfare Award for Best Director (Tamil)’.
According to Times of India, rumour also suggests that Nayanthara, whom many are now referring to Lady Superstar, is set to play the leading lady alongside GV Prakash.
However, there hasn’t been any official confirmation from her nor the director.
