The highly-anticipated horror-thriller film helmed by Hemanth Madhukar Silence will feature Anushka and Madhavan in the lead roles. The film also stars Subbaraju and Shalini Pandey in pivotal roles. The trailer has just been released and it has garnered 3.5 million views in just three days. The real star of the trailer, however, is Anjali.
Popular Hollywood actor, Michael Madsen of Kill Bill and Species fame will also be seen as a police officer. On the music front, Gopi Sundar has composed the tunes for the film.

Anushka has put in a lot of effort in order to play her role. She has interacted with multiple differently-abled people with speech and hearing impairments to understand their struggles. She also underwent training under an artist to learn the skill of painting as it was required for her film.
The film has garnered much attention since the release of its teaser and it has hit 3 million views within two days.
The director has confirmed that Silence will hit the screens on April 2nd in five languages, namely Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and English.
