WATCH: Saran Narayanan’s Cover of 80’s Hit, Apo Nak Dikato

Singer, composer and voice over artist Saran Narayanan has wowed us once again, this time with his cover of the 1982 hit tune, Apo Nak Dikato.

The tune was originally sung by Malaysian band Blues Gang, a band that has been providing, for the past 40 years or so, a staple of Malaysianised blues rhythm in its recordings, setting new trends along the way.

Saran’s cover of the song comes with the #malaysianmusiccoverchallenge that has musicians on Instagram covering their favourite local tunes.
