In conjunction with the global Covid-19 pandemic, Discovery Channel will be speaking with experts, doctors, nurses, patients and volunteers on the front line of this health crisis through a series of documentaries.
The first program, titled Covid-19: Battling the Devil, profile the minutes that led to the mass quarantine of Wuhan, the epicentre of the virus. This series will talk about what went on in the city that was the first to undergo lockdown, and hear from frontline doctors, scientists, volunteers and public officials who were at the forefront of the battle.
Pandemic: Covid-19, focuses on efforts. This programme will delve the latest inside look at how authorities worldwide are testing, identifying and treating patients in the face of this pandemic.
Covid-19: Battling the Devil airs on 19th April at 9pm, while Pandemic: Covid-19 airs on 26th April at 9pm on Discovery Channel Astro Channel 572/552 HD.
