CANCELLED: Anand & Priyanka Up Close & Personal

The upcoming concert, Anand & Priyanka Up Close & Personal has been cancelled. The organisers, Asia Weaves made the announcement yesterday on their Facebook page.

The event was scheduled to take place on the 29th of March at the Shantanand Auditorium, Temple of Fine Arts, Kuala Lumpur was postponed to the 9th of August due to the movement control order (MCO).

The organisers said in a statement that the event is cancelled primarily due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As both Malaysia and India have not opened their borders, it would be almost impossible to bring the artists over for a concert here.

Asia Weaves also emphasised the paramount importance of health and safety of the concert goers during these trying times.

All those who have purchased invitation cards for this event will be given a FULL REFUND, no questions asked. Invitation card holders will have from today up until the 29th of July 2020 to secure their refunds.

The five winners of Varnam Malaysia’s online contest will be honoured with free tickets for Asia Weaves’ next event.
