Alvin Anthons is a name familiar to many of us. He has brought us an enormous amount of talk show programs previously and now he’s back with something new. Alvin is a talented bilingual International Performing Entertainer / Emcee, TV Host, Speaker, and Recording Artist, who speaks fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Recently, he launched a bi-weekly Virtual Live Talk Show titled ‘The Nite Nite Show with Alvin Anthons’, which has been broadcasting live on his Instagram at 10 pm every Tuesdays and Thursdays. So far this is the only Malaysian live entertainment program broadcasted on Instagram amidst a studio set and a live DJ.
The program kicks off with special guests on each episode and talks about trending issues and unique game segments, tailor-made for each guest.
Dato’ Hans Issac, Ferhad, Allan Wu, Dr. Soo Winci, and Dato’ Norman KRU were among the guest line-up that have made a splendid appearance on the show so far. The show has garnered more than 340 views for each episode since going on air in mid June. Meanwhile, the recap show will be posted on his YouTube channel which has reached over 5,200 views for each episode. The next live episode will feature Amber Chia on July 14th.
Alvin Anthons
As an accomplished presenter, awards host and broadcaster, Alvin has presented live shows and live events around the globe. Over the past decade, thousands have been entertained by his warmth, charisma, and infectious energy. A prominent name in the corporate events arena, Alvin presents countless events for brands across the globe, spanning through various industries.
While Anthons has been in the public eye tasking various roles, singing professionally has always been a wish he kept close to his heart for many years. A meeting with composer, Ajai, two years ago marked the start of his singing career.
The Nite Nite Show marks the second talk-show in which Alvin is the host of. He helmed his own talk show on Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) TV2, called ‘Let’s Talk’. The entertainment talk show program ran for three seasons, garnering over one million viewers per episode back in the year 2000.
