One of the best romantic comedies in Kollywood, Oh My Kadavule will now be remade in Telugu specially for Tollywood audiences. Ashok Selvan, Ritika Singh, Vani Bhojan seized the screen as lead roles in Oh My Kadavule. The rom-com was produced by Abinaya Selvam’s Happy High Pictures, in association with Dilli Babu’s Axess Film Factory and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. Oh My Kadavule was released on Valentine’s Day this year and became a big hit receiving many overwhelming responses for Ashok’s surreal acting.
Upon watching the movie on special screening, PVP Cinema immediately acquired for remake rights to shoot the movie in Telugu. Tharun Bhascker, the scrip writer took to his Instagram handle confirming the news to the remake of this film. The telugu version of Oh My Kadavule will star Tollywood’s heartthrob, Vishwak Sen. He has acted in recent blockbuster hits such as, HIT, Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi and Vellipomakey. The blockbuster hero is also a director and has directed a short film on the Kappela remake. He has also directed a movie Falaknuma Das and stared in it.
Oh My Kadavule features special appearances by Makkal Selvan, Vijay Sethupathi. The reprising actor for Vijay’s role in the Telugu version is yet to be revealed. More updates to come for this movie!
