SP Bala Fights Covid-19 In ICU With Life Support!

Veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam got himself admitted in the hospital earlier this month, confirmed to be diagnosed with a COVID-19.

Currently, hospital officials have confirmed that he is put under the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to his the deteriorating health condition.

He is being treated in MGM healthcare where he has been receiving treatments for more than a week. The hospital officials have released a statement stating , “There has been a setback in the health of Thiru SP Balasubrahmanyam who had been admitted at MGM Healthcare for symptoms for Covid-19 since 5th August 2020. In a late night development on 13th August 2020, his condition had deteriorated and based on the advice of the expert medical team attending him, he has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and he is on life support and his condition remains critical.”

The nightingale of India, whom has sung over 40,000 songs for more than 5 decades is under serious health condition from this air-borne virus. Despite being 74 years old, he is still fighting strong and is very determined to beat this virus based on a video released by him earlier this month on 5th August on his Facebook handle.

The current Covid-19 cases in India has reached up to 2.46 million with 48,040 deaths! Other actors in the Tamil film industry that has also been reported to be in contact with the virus are the Bachans’s family and Actor Karunas.
