Malaysians have the opportunity to take home cash prizes and record a song in the Raaga singing show, RAAGA Idol, which is open for auditions from now until 21st August 2020.
RAAGA Idol is a competition organised to seek the next superstar through which the winners will receive prizes and a chance to record their own song.
Contestants are expected to submit a 1 minute video of them singing on Instagram with a hashtag #raaga idol and tag @raaga.my as their caption.
The song sung by contestants must be one of the songs listed on raaga.my.
Contestants should not be an established artist with any major label and/or may not have recently recorded any tracks. The video must be recorded without any form of background music, including minus one, and must have no filter or video effects whatsoever. Contestants would be required to keep their profile/account/post public throughout the competition phase.
The 1st place winner will be rewarded RM 2000 cash, 2nd place RM 1000 and RM 500 for the 3rd place winner. All those 3 winners will get a chance to record their song with a famous Malaysian composer! Shortlisted participants will be invited to the final round during the first week of September.
