It’s no less than a nightmare for any parent to discover that their child is a predator.

Karppazhipai Karuvvaruppom, emphasises issues on child abuse and also rape. The much-hyped short film is a gripping 5-minute watch which will make us uncomfortable from the very beginning. It might not be an easy film to watch for any one out there, more so for a parent, but the director wants people to know the unadulterated truth.

Adithya Kathir, the director of the short film beautifully humanises the sorrows of a mother who has to accept that her son is a child abuser and rapist. The short film makes a compelling watch with its play of cinematic lighting and good screenplay.
