“Everyone has talent. What’s rare is the courage to follow it to the dark places where it leads.” ― Erica Jong

Perananti Velo, a 19-year-old teenager has definitely made heads turn globally after playing the keyboard whilst being blindfolded! Now, that’s absolutely mind-blowing folks!

She has earned the limelight that she truly deserves for acquiring such astonishing skills by receiving the Malaysia Kalai Ulagam (MKU) Book Of Records recently!

Her motivation behind this venture, was when she was constantly slammed with criticism, critics making fun of her talent, claiming it was nothing spectacular despite playing the keyboard with utmost flair.

Driven by force to stand out from the crowd and make a name for herself, she decided to challenge herself and play the keyboard all while being blindfolded.

she practiced hard until she perfected the craft, beating all odds She encountered along her journey, She Reaped what she sowed.

Each practice took her days and many hours, entirely dedicated towards her keyboard practice whilst becoming familiar with keyboard keys at the same time juggling her studies as a software engineer in a polytechnic based in Balik Pulau, Penang.

Perananti’s prompt hardwork eventually paid of with numerous notable accolades showering upon her beautiful renditions!

Aiming to roar high up the success ladder with her exquisite keyboard skills, she also intends to educate others via her Instagram handle where she shares on her experiences on becoming a keyboardist and how even without a physical keyboard we could learn the methods needed to develop our skills by just using our phones! Let’s support and uplift young talents like Perananti by providing them with a good platform for them to explore and bring their talents to life!
