The root of culture is oral traditions. In addition, the brilliant students not only spoke eloquently and boldly in front of a packed crowd but reminded us of the spoken word that can help provoke, inspire at the same time unite oneself to another.

Nevertheless, the purpose of organising a poetry recitation competition is to promote poetry among primary and secondary school students. It is known as the nationwide competition and helps to engage students through poetry in an understanding of the beauty of words, thus instilling a sense of faith in the art of public speaking.
