The Queen portrays the life, struggles and resilience of a courageous woman whose character is vaguely based on the life of the late J. Jayalalithaa, the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and a famous actress.
This 11-episode riveting series stars versatile actress Ramya Krishnan, jointly directed by award-winning director Gautham Vasudev Menon and Prasath Murugesan, who plays the titular role along with a talented cast including Indrajith Sukumaran, Anjana Jayaprakash, Anikha Surendran, and Vamsi Krishna.
