Kedah welcomes its new Contingent Crime Investigation Department Chief YDH SAC Suresh Kumar to take office and lead in fighting crime in the country’s northern state.
On the 19th of April, YDH SAC Sapii Ahmad officially handed over his duties to YDH Suresh Kumar Suppiah to presume office taking in charge of the unit.

Kedah Police Chief Datuk Hasanuddin Hassan witnessed the ceremony held at the Tungku Ibrahim Hall, Kedah Police Headquarters (IPK).
SAC Suresh Kumar, who formerly served as Chief of the Department of Crime Prevention and Safety of the Perak Community, replaces SAC Sapii, who relocated to Bukit Aman as Assistant Director of D9 Special Investigation, Criminal Investigation Department.
