The national player will face a rubber match today, (23rd May) against Egypt’s Nouran Gohar who fondly known as the World No.2 player. Sangari would be on a roll at the moment.

In 2016, she conquered the first six tournaments by defeating Vanessa Chu, Ho Tze-Lok, Lisa Camilleri, Rachel Arnold, and Tsz-Wing Tong in finals over that spell. At the same time, she won the Beijing Squash Challenge and the Ohana Malaysian Open.

The 22 years-old player emerged into the top fifty and went on to make two more final appearances, as well as three more semi-final appearances in 2018, including the Malaysian and Pakistan Opens. In 2019, Malaysia won twice on the Tour, which first at the Racquet Club Pro-Series and followed with the Australian Open. In the same year, she made it to the third round of a Platinum standard event for the first time in her career at the FS Investments U.S. Open Squash Championships.
