Sometimes you don’t need a cape to flaunt your heroism. Just a small act of kindness would do the job for you.

Hailing from Singapore, Shakthi, a 7-year-old Lianhua Primary School pupil has recently set up a ‘Care and Share’ corner at Block 170 Bukit Batok West Avenue 8 alongside her parents’ guidance. The initiative started in the midst of the circuit breaker in response to end hunger for children who are less fortunate.

You may ask, ‘a seven-year-old with a big heart?’

Well, why not? More than you think. Kids these days are beyond doubt blessed with creativity, intelligence and a heart of gold.

Never too young to help those in need!

The initiative officially started to kick off on 1st June continuing till the end of the month (30th June). Since day 1, they’ve been receiving overwhelming feedback from the residents and the needy.

Jmaleni Saravanan, Shakthi’s mother has taken to her Facebook page by updating her daughter’s achievement at a very young age. As parents, they’re surely proud of their daughter’s compassionate heart to help those who are really in need.

Besides her parents’ money, Shakthi has chipped in her savings for the Care and Share corner. Essential food items including canned food, instant noodles, and snacks will be stocked up every three days.

Shakthi has touched the hearts of many. God bless this little girl!
