While it is almost a one hundred one chance for our local talents to enter the Kollywood industry, a tremendous Malaysian based woman Reetha Ramudoo, a well-known producer managed to break down the barrier by making her mark in the international circuit.
The founder-director of Amma Production Sdn Bhd has been consistently handling and distributing Tamil and Telugu films such as Vakeel Saab, Bharat Ane Nenu, Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, Mahanati, and several other films.
The pioneer producer’s emergence in a brand new show, Pongurom Thingurom is touted to be a competitive cooking game show with a comedic touch. Under T R Bala’s direction, Robo Shankar and Kureshi have stepped in to anchor along with Grace Karunas and Chef Vinoth Kumar as juries in the show.

Various tribal artists such as Indraja Robo, Pugazh, Ramar, Thangadurai, Priya, Akash, Sai, Ranjith, Amudhavanan and Uthaya will be seen participating in the show, where they will endeavour to show their culinary skills. The show was entirely shot in Malaysia, hence it depicts on the assimilation of culture in Malaysian cuisine.
