As the series enters its fifth and final season, local musicians Shaun Vinda and Vishal Chopra bid farewell to the series with their own interpretation of the hymn ‘Bella Ciao,’ which translates to “Beautiful Goodbye.”
Shaun Vinda is a rising musician noted for his lively and percussive mixes featuring the tabla, a North Indian instrument. You may recognise him from his unique social media videos in which he sings and demonstrates his outstanding drumming abilities. He was one of the top three winners at the recent grand finale of the Harvinth Skin Fans’ Show.
Vishal Chopra, a 19-year-old Penangite, is another exceptional musician who received international fame when he represented Malaysia in the 2018 World Championships of Performing Arts competition held in Hollywood. With an electric guitar in hand, he won three gold medals, one silver medal, and the title of “World Champion” in the instrumental category. He is a multi-talented teen as he also plays the drums, bass, and acoustic guitar.
