The wait is finally over! Thalaiva is back with a big time bang hitting our screens, cracking it right.
In fact, it is a double treat for the fans as the film makers have shared a glimpse of the Superstar’s upcoming flick, Annaatthe. Helmed by Siruthai Siva, the two-minute trailer depicts Rajinikanth confronting a number of people who have mistreated the village he represents. The visuals are vibrant, with Rajinikanth styled in a rustic manner.
It appears that his character goes out to exact vengeance on a few people, where a series of bizarre events unfold. Produced by Sun Pictures, Annaatthe features an ensemble cast comprising names like Khushbu, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj and Soori in pivotal roles.

The best part is it does with good dialogues and a resounding background score that seems just apt and fitting for the theme the film is going for.
However, a portion of the audience has begun to voice their discontent with the teaser’s tacky visual effects and the absence of any of the female stars.
