The newlyweds digitally greeted their guests during the one-hour event, which let them explore the castle and modify their avatars’ look and attire.
Their wedding celebration was themed after Hogwarts and other Harry Potter elements, as they are both Potterheads.
A 12-member crew worked for a month in making this Metaverse reception a virtual reality for a first-of-its-kind wedding reception.
During the virtual event, the bride’s late father was a guest of honour, which was quite fascinating.
Dinesh’s father in law passed away last year, he decided to create the 3D avatar of him in hopes that he will bless him and his fiancee. The appearance was made possible by metaverse.
Isn’t everything possible in the virtual world?
