The Hunt For The Next Miss Universe Malaysia 2022 Begins!

Potential contestants invited to walk-in for the National auditions

If you are a confident, fearless female who dreams of empowering young women out there while rocking an exquisite crown and sash, and you inspire to become the next Miss Universe just like current reigning Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Sandhu of India, then this is your shot!

Miss Universe Malaysia Organization (MUMO) is the country’s prestigious pageant and reality TV event conducted annually and returns after a hiatus in search of beauty to fill in the shoes of the next Miss Universe Malaysia 2022.

Incepted in 1962 and revamped in 2010, it is conceptualised to provide a platform for young, ambitious Malaysian women to represent their nation on the international stage, which is Miss Universe. 

To all beauties out there, feel free to attend the National Auditions to stand a chance at becoming a finalist of the next Miss Universe Malaysia 2022.

Below are the details that you should take note;

Date: Saturday, 5th March – Sunday, 6th March 2022 

Time: 10AM – 5PM (Saturday) 

9AM – 12PM (Sunday) 

Venue: MYEG Tower, Level 43A, Empire City, No 8, Jalan Damansara, PJU 8, Petaling Jaya,  Selangor 

Interested contestants must meet the requirements set by the Miss Universe Malaysia Organization  (MUMO) as follows: 

  • A non-Muslim Malaysian female citizen 
  • Never been married or divorced or have had a child; 
  • Between 18 years and under 27 years of age before 1st January 2022 in the year they wish  to compete; 
  • Height of at least 168cm and above; 
  • Able to communicate in any of these languages: English/ Bahasa Malaysia/ Mandarin/ Tamil 
  • Able to personify all the values and attributes of Miss Universe Malaysia. This includes  confidence, strong work ethics, commitment, professionalism, talent, grace and beauty. 

Attendees to the National Auditions must be well-groomed with make-up and high heels, and bring along: 

  • Original and photocopy of your MyKad 
  • Three recent photos of face, mid-length & full-length shot (need not be professionally taken). 

The winner of the Miss Universe Malaysia title can expect a life-changing experience where she will be groomed to become a public figure, and have a ready platform to brand herself and champion a cause close to her heart.

She will also receive opportunities to network with prominent, influential figures all over the world, work with leading industry players and indirectly become the face of the organisation.

The best part of it all, the crowned winner will enjoy the opportunity to travel abroad and represent Malaysia at the International Miss Universe stage. 

If you meet all the requirements and are up for a new and challenging experience, you are invited to attend the National Auditions for a chance to be a part of the pageant world.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Attendees are required to do a COVID self-test before attending the audition. You may register yourself at the reception before proceeding to Level 43A.
