Who would have imagined that our legendary composer would be teaming with Netflix India’s extremely popular American series?
The Maestro Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja surprised everyone by releasing a new promo for the hit American series Stranger Things, with a new, alternative background score composed by him.
Ilaiyaraaja confirmed the news by tweeting the video quoting “Raaja kaiya vacha… Strange ah ponadhilla”.

In the 2-minute video, the renowned music composer is shown orchestrating the music on a beach with a band in the Stranger Things universe’s Upside Down. Everyone praised him for preserving the core of the original music while also adding his own unique spin.
Netflix South India shared Ilaiyaraaja’s version of the show’s theme music by mentioning, “MAESTRO @ilaiyaraaja‘s VERSION OF THE STRANGER THINGS THEME HAS TURNED OUR WORLD UPSIDE DOWN!”

Stranger Things, the fourth season of the mystery series, will premiere on Netflix on May 27th, this series revolves around a group of children witnessing supernatural forces and secret government exploits.
