Guys, strap yourselves in to witness all the massive jokes and the funniest performances at The Big LOL Show which is set to take place at the brand new world class concert hall in Bukit Bintang, Zepp Kuala Lumpur (Zepp KL), on June 16th till 18th 2022.

After a two year drought, LOL Asia is naming the annual comedy show as “THE COMEBACK” for anyone or EVERYONE who was affected by the pandemic.

What makes this show a happening one?

The multifaceted stand-up comedian from Singapore, KUMAR is making his way to Malaysia to tickle everyone with his honest-to-goodness brand of stand-up comedy. Having said that , we will also be witnessing the Malaysian line-up comedians such as Joanne Kam, Jo Kukathas, Kuah Jenhan, Vince Chong, Prakash Daniel and Yazmin Aziz throughout the entire show.

Speaking about Kumar, he is known as the most prominent comedian that almost everyone celebrates to date, and he has spent nearly three decades in the entertainment industry. Kumar, whose real name is Kumarason Chinnadurai, began his career as a pub singer at a fun pub called Cheers. He was in his early 20s then.

In 1991, he secured a job as an Indian drag queen at the now-defunct Laughs Comedy Club. At that point, he realised being a comedian was his career path. The following year, he was offered a job at The Boom Boom Room on New Bugis Street, which was his lucky break.

In between lip-syncing and dancing practices, Kumar cracked the most eccentric jokes about sex, race, and government when people were zip-mouthed  about matters concerning LGBT issues or politics. His cross-dressing became his signature, and that’s when he rose to prominence as Singapore’s most well-known drag queen.

Among his most popular shows both abroad and at home are such as Kumar: Stripped Bare And Standing Up (2009-2010), Kumar’s Amazing Race (2011-2012), and Kumar: What Makes A Man A Man? (2013-2014). Well, these could be some of the few shows featuring Kumar which literally grabbed the attention of audiences in both Singapore and Malaysia.

The Big LOL Show promises a roaring good time to the audience with a gathering featuring the best of Asian comedians in the region. Hurry up, book your tickets at LOL ASIA website!
