Shakti Margam: A Devotional Tribute Is Happening On August 27

Yet another divine recital is set to take place in August!

Dakshra Fine Arts academy will be presenting their upcoming offering aptly titled ‘Shakti Margam’. This devotional tribute will be flaunted by Shrimathi Mohanapriya Govindapillai and Shrimathi Hanusha Mohanadas.

This Margam is a Samarpanam solely dedicated to their Gurus, Shrimathi Radha Shetty and Shrimathi Shyamala Narayanan who both are the pillars of The Temple of Fine Arts while Shakti represents them as a force, the energy derived from their Gurus.

With this, they would love to radiate this energy to all women to empower and motivate them to achieve everything they wish for.

Details of this event are as below:

Date: 27 August  2022 ( Saturday )

Time: 7 pm onwards

Venue: Shantanand Auditorium, Temple of Fine Arts, Brickfields.

Dakshra Fine Arts warmly welcomes everyone to join and watch their classical tribute offering.

Ticket prices start from RM30 (Green-Upper Floor), RM50 (Red) and RM80 (Yellow) and it is available for purchase. 

*As part of DFA’s community outreach program, 10% of the proceeds from ticket sales will be contributed to the Shelter for Abused Women and Children in Seremban.

Dakshra Fine Arts

Dakshra Fine Arts is a dance academy established in the year 2015, dedicated to enhancing the creativity of individuals through the richness of Indian classical dance and music. Students at Dakshra Fine Arts range from 5 to 55 years old, truly reflecting the philosophy that age is never a barrier to learning this ancient art form. All that is required is genuine interest, passion and determination to learn.

Guinness World Record Feat

Recently on the 18th of December 2021, they have successfully broken the Guinness World Record for the first time in Malaysia Virtual Natyanjali 2021 for “Most People Performing a Choreographed Dance Online Simultaneously”.
