Recently, Silambam Porr Kalai Grandmaster N. Mooralitharan achieved an incredible feat by securing a spot in the Malaysia Book of Records for the Longest Non-Stop Silambam Performance Relay 2022 and Longest Silambam Stick Rotation By An Individual (24hrs).
In acknowledgement of this remarkable accomplishment, Grandmaster N.Mooralithran was honoured with ‘Pride of Humanity’ award 2022 by Take Care International Foundation with the collaboration of A.P. J. Abdul Kalam Foundation.
Majlis Silambam Porr Kalai Malaysia (MSPKM) shared this glorious news to everyone noting that Grandmaster N.Mooralithran was awarded with this prestigious award for his contributions to MSPKM, particularly for obtaining two national records and presenting a special Porr Kalai session for the Malaysian Blind Association.
To date, grandmaster Mooralitharan has trained numerous young talents to restore the traditional art all over the nation.
His dedication and enthusiasm for helping the youngsters achieve more than they deserve have captured the community’s attention.
