Astro once again brings to you an amazing set of drama to your big screen. Astro is set to delight their customers by premiering two local Tamil shows; Abaaya Sangili and Oru Kalainganin Diary.
Abaaya Sangili
Abaaya Sangili is a drama telemovie that will drive you into an intriguing story about a married couple voyage who are working through a psychological diagnosis together. Directed by local filmmaker, Aravinn Vharmaan, this telemovie stars a talented local cast including Magendran Raman, Punitah Shanmugam, Nitya Shree, and more.
The telemovie revolves around Dev, who is diagnosed with dissociative personality disorder due to his traumatic past. He misunderstands his wife, Tivya and her intentions as she distances herself. She eventually tries to free herself from her husband’s mistreatment while also helping him in his recovery.
Abaaya Sangili premieres on 16 September, 9pm on Astro Vaanavil (Ch 201).
Oru Kalainganin Diary
Oru Kalainganin Diary, directed by a brilliant local director, S. Balachandran features talented local artists such as Ravin Rao Santheran, Kavitha Sinhya, Krithigah Nair and more, this series will delve into a narrative that revolves around Varun, an enthusiastic music composer paving the way to become a renowned musician in the local entertainment industry despite his history of being addicted to substances.
Oru Kalainganin Diary premieres on 19 September, 9pm on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202) with new episodes available every Monday to Thursday.
