Get ready to be mesmerised with Rajhesh Vaidhya’s rich repertoire through his pure melody of Veena with percussion accompaniment!

Kalaimamani Rajhesh Vaidhya’s – the #KingOfVeena Feel The Strings Live In Malaysia concert is about to bring you a night filled with melodies infused with his fusion musical journey featuring super hit Indian film soundtracks from the era of 60s till current hits.

Rajhesh Vaidhya Feel The Strings Live Concert is scheduled on 17th December 2022 (Saturday) at the prestigious event space, World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur at 7 PM.

Spearheaded by Mediaberg Productions, our dearest melomaniacs are eagerly waiting for the veena extraordinaire to create his magic on the stage.

Mediaberg Productions hosted a Press Conference at World Trade Centre with Kalaimamani himself and stated that all the audience will experience the one-night-only performance by King of Veena in Malaysia to be a spectacular one.

Asked about what Malaysian fans can anticipate from the King of Veena, the organiser has confirmed that the concert will feature a line-up of the most talented and passionate musicians such as Kartick Devaraj on the keyboard, Keith Peters on bass guitar, Kumaran on Drums, Praveen on Tabla, Sai on Gatham and many more on the list.

Having said that, two lead vocalists will join hands to sing along with this one-of-a-kind band to further enhance the flavors of music within their repertoire.

During the press conference, Rajesh Vaidhya also mentioned that the concert will be way too different as the highly accomplished veena player will attempt to break his existing record of the most songs played on veena in 60 minutes (60 songs in 60 minutes); to a new world record by playing 100 songs in 100 minutes exclusively in Malaysia.

Rajhesh was last seen performing at the Malaysian Independent Live Fusion Festival (2019), and there’s no doubt that he will make this concert a fulfilling yet enthralling experience.

“Malaysia has always been close to my heart and I am very sure that my fans will make it a sold-out concert,” he said.

Born into a rich musical environment, Vaidhya inherited his indigenous talents from his father, Sri K.M. Vaidyanathan, an icon in the world of the music industry, especially on the mridangam and ghatam.

Rajhesh has also explained about how he would choose those 100 songs on that day.

“I’ll plan a total number of 30 songs for that day and the rest I would know what my beloved fans wanted me to play for the of the whole concert,” he stated.

Apart from his blistering speed, the maestro entered Asia Book Of Records (2001) through the critically acclaimed ‘Do you Have A Minute Series’ where he performed One Song, One Minute, One Day. This series of one-minute versions of classics and hit songs across genres, languages, and continents has over 10 million views across all social media platforms.

Tickets are sold out for the Silver and Bronze zone. But, fret not as tickets for Gold (RM 259), Platinum (RM399), Diamond (RM499), VIP (RM699) and MIP (RM 1499) are still available for online purchasing via www.ticket2u.com.my.
