After a two-year hiatus brought on by the pandemic, Selangor & Federal Territory Malayalee Association (SFTMA) is gearing up for the much-anticipated Fundraising Gala Dinner for a noble cause.
With that being said, SFTMA is super excited & proud to invite you to the Fundraising Gala Dinner which is all set to commence in October 2022. Check out the details of the event below :

Time: 6.30pm
Venue: Dorsett Grand Subang
Dress code : Formal
A treasure trove of talents awaits you with a rich lineup of performances from Vijay TV Fame, Sakthi Amaran, and Sireesha, and our very own Malaysian artiste-The Banditz Live Band with MK. The grand highlight of this event will be Singapore’s Iconic Stand Up Comedian, KUMAR, who will undoubtedly leave us gasping with laughter!
Purpose: The tickets for this year’s mega event will help to support the ‘Inclusive Outdoor Classroom’ in Subang Jaya and the SFTMA Building Fund.
So, what is Selangor & Federal Territory Malayalee Association (SFTMA) is all about?
SFTMA, formerly known as Kerala Samajam Selangor (KSS) was one of the earliest Malayalee organisations to be registered on 18th November 1952 in Malaysia. Mr. P.N. Pillai, touted to be the first president of SFTMA and he was the main pillar for the organisation.
The formation of KSS now known as SFTMA was to cater for the social and cultural needs of Malayalees in Selangor and the Federal Territory. Malayalees are those people who hailed from the then States of Travancore, Cochin and Malabar in South India, now called Kerala, with a language of their own called Malayalam.
