The new rates for the regular areas are as follows:

On weekdays

  • The first three hours – RM2
  • Third and fourth hours – RM1
  • Subsequent hours – RM2.50

On weekends and public holidays

  • First three hours – RM3
  • Subsequent hours – RM1

The new rates for the premium areas are as follows:

On weekdays, weekends, and public holidays

  • RM4 for the first hour
  • RM2.50 every subsequent hour

Since the new parking charges enforced on 1st October 2022, public have been complaining and showing their dissatisfaction by taking upon this matter to social media platforms.

“Besides getting a low salary, the parking fee hike is a ‘kick in the guts’ and it is unreasonable. It’s better to find a job close to my house even if my salary isn’t high,” Pavetra stated.

Some netizens have also calculated the overall parking fee that they need to spend per month. Guess, the management need to look into this matter before they face major losses due to the sudden cost.
