It’s fascinating to see many youngsters who possess incredible talents. As evident, the work they are presenting reflects their unwavering passion. With that being said, recently a group of youngsters joined hands together and delivered one of their finest creations.

Helmed and penned by Rubathinesh Nair, a short film aptly titled “Gun In Shadows” aka G.I.S been receiving an incredible amount of praise for the excellent screenplay, neat visuals and thrilling BGM. The story of G.I.S centres around a gun, an ex-cop, and a thug grappling with an unresolved issue. The short film starts with an intriguing narration by Martin R. Chantheran for a piece of a Gun (Revolver) with a mystery reverberating gunshots in the background.

Heading toward the built-up made by the narrator, the following up of the story brings you to an abridged scene elucidating the past of the gun. None like the other, the team has done something different here which is including animation to showcase the back story. Well, the animation work by Sharvin Segar and Yuveen was pretty commendable. During this part, it also shows that the writer has done a great job doing a tonne of research even for a brief moment as such.

Shabby and Auro, the duo who stars in the baffling film, did a fantastic job capturing the character’s persona. Apart from the brilliant screenplay, excellent direction and amazing acting of the cast, another element that will keep you hooked is the background score and music by Sivashankar and Arvein Raja, they nailed it. Furthermore, Rubathinesh also pulled off some stunt sequences and used a range of camera angles which clearly proves that he is a skilful newcomer.
