Heerraa Honoured With A Bronze Medal For Best Music Video At The Global Music Awards 2022 (USA)

This young lass is stamping her name in the global music scene.

The musically talented youngster, Heerraa has now tacked on another achievement. The 23-year-old artiste was honoured with an esteemed bronze medal for Best Music Video for Attention Island music video at the Global Music Awards 2022.

Established in 2011, the Global Music Awards (GMA) is a well-known international music competition that celebrates independent musicians. GMA is widely recognized by industry insiders as giving legitimacy to highly talented artists and also as music’s golden seal of approval.

Sharing this good news through her Instagram, Heerraa took this opportunity to thank all the pillars that made this feat come true;

“Thank you to the ET Boost team and the mega-talented cinematographer, Syarvin Sugumar, for bringing this music video to life! With 20+ people in the team spending more than 80 hours to bring this R&B song and the cinematic music video to fruition, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this recognition ❤ Thank you ET Boost (Music Video) & MAP Music (Song Arrangement) for working with me to bring this vision to life.” said the Harvard University scholar.

The talented young lass wrapped by expressing her hope that this music video and song touches more lives through its message of staying grounded as you search for who you are.

Prior to these accolades, the renowned singer-songwriter and performer was named Female Single of the Year (Gold) at the International Singer-Songwriter Association Awards 2021 held in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition, during the Rampage Music Awards 2021, Heerraa won the Entertainer of the Year award. This huge feat was a big break and a stepping stone in getting her songs airplay on international radio stations and digital platforms.

Most recently, Heerraa were featured in Prestige Malaysia’s 40 Under 40 2022; an annual list highlighting the work of Malaysia’s most successful, innovative and influential young people.
