With the Festival of Lights upon us, Pavilion REIT Malls invite shoppers to celebrate Deepavali with vibrant kolam designs, beautiful decorations, irresistible shopping deals and fun-filled activities for everyone from now until the end of October! 

PAVILION KUALA LUMPUR 

Malaysia’s premier shopping destination, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, presents a ‘Majestic Deepavali’ this year, with extravagant decorations, performances, activities and shopping rewards! 

Be sure to stop by and admire the glorious decorative elephants and colourful kolams illuminating the iconic Crystal Fountain. In Hindu culture, elephants are sacred symbols of peace, mental strength, and power, while kolams signify auspiciousness and good luck. Inspired by stunning saree designs, the mall is decorated with brightly coloured flowers, capturing the hues of the rainbow,— six yards of pure grace, elegance, and beauty commemorating the festive season.

Catch the festive performances by Temple of Fine Arts on the 8, 9, 15 and 16 October from 3pm to 3.30pm at Pavilion KL’s Main Entrance. The Temple of Fine Arts has planned a series of Indian Cultural Dances, including Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Kuchipudi, Kathak, and Contemporary – there’s even something for Bollywood fans! Bring your friends and family to rediscover the wonders of these ‘ cultural, artistic and spiritual traditions.

Plenty of festive treats and shopping await at Pavilion KL this festive period. Shop for your Deepavali-themed body and shower products from LUSH, and find your signature scent from Amouage. Get festive-ready and bling on with stacks of gold-toned crystals from Swarovski. For some exciting entertainment, catch the latest blockbusters at Dadi Cinema, then cap off your day with delectable Northern Indian delicacies at Royal India and visit The Coffee Academïcs for coffee and dessert. 

Shoppers are rewarded with free Deepavali packets with every RM150 spent, or RM100 spent with Maybank Cards in a single receipt at retail stores and F&B outlets from 7 until 30 October. Maybank cardholders will be gifted a free Vatiri Tea Cup with every RM500 spent with Maybank cards in a single receipt at any retail stores and F&B outlets. With every RM2,000 spent in a single receipt, Maybank cardholders will be gifted free Pyrex Country Rose Carafe and Mugs.

Da Men USJ invites shoppers to ‘Alight With Joy’ this Deepavali!

True to the Festival of Lights, the mall is adorned with traditional Indian lanterns that symbolise the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. In the spirit of Keluarga Malaysia, the community mall is proud to present a stunning kolam made with colourful sarees and bangles and showcasing traditional Indian fashion, shining a spotlight on the rich Indian culture and heritage. 

Plenty of treats and shopping rewards await at Da Men USJ’s Deepavali Bazaar this festive period. Shop for your stylish Deepavali outfit, stock up on your favourite Indian snacks, and elevate your festive look with Henna art and accessories every weekend until 23 October. Children aged 4-15 are invited to show off their talent to win attractive prizes with the mall’s Deepavali Kids Indian and Belly Dance Competition on 30 October. 

Shoppers can stand a chance to win big prizes such as a cordless vacuum cleaner, slow cooker, non-stick pot and many more when they correctly guess the worth of the items in the ‘Guess and Win’ contest.

With a minimum spend of RM50 in a single receipt mall-wide or RM150 in a single receipt for Jaya Grocer. Until the end of October, ‘BIG Spender’ with a minimum of RM380 mall-wide or RM480 for Jaya Grocer in two combined receipts will be eligible to redeem RM50 cash voucher. On top of that, shoppers are invited to ‘SPEND & Lepak’ with a minimum spend of RM180 mall-wide or RM280 for Jaya Grocer in two combined receipts to redeem F&B vouchers and Dadi Cinema movie vouchers!

INTERMARK MALL

Embark on a journey filled with Indian culture and heritage with ‘Ode To Odissi’. Intermark Mall is proud to collaborate with the Temple of Fine Arts to pay homage to the Odissi dance, a form of dance from the state of Odisha on the eastern coast of India. The mall’s Ground Atrium will be filled with colourful and vibrant garlands, bringing to life a kaleidoscope of colour to brighten up the Deepavali celebration.

Upon stepping into the Ground Atrium, shoppers will be able to see the beautiful Odissi costumes with headgear and accessories, as well as Odisha sarees on display. Odisha has a rich heritage of textile and weaving art, and the indigenous styles of fabric dyeing and weaving in the state have found inspiration from old religious texts and traditions. In collaboration with internationally-renowned fashion designer Carven Ong, Intermark Mall presents an exclusively designed collection, calling to mind flamboyant peacocks and extravagant flair. Be sure to check out this brilliant display at Level 1.

Witness spectacular festive performances by the Temple of Fine Arts on  15 October at 1pm. Shoppers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to learn more about the cultural dance, costumes and accessories.

For those looking to stock up on the festive goodies, Intermark Mall’s bazaar at the Ground Atrium offers a selection of handmade accessories from HIAS, festive clothing and accessories from Cashmere Creation, delicious cookies from Cookies by Yusa and stylish bags to elevate your Deepavali look from Hueysybags. 

Deepavali isn’t complete without Henna Art, also known as Mehndi! Get dolled up for the festive season with attractive henna designs every weekend between 1-3 pm from 15, 16, 20, 21, 25 and 26 October at the Ground Atrium.

Shoppers who spend RM500 and above in a single receipt may redeem assorted Naturals by Watsons bath and hand cream. Those who spend RM1,000 and above in a single receipt may redeem an Oriental Signature cash voucher worth RM100.
