If you’re thinking of hitting the cinemas this Valentines Day, why not give a Tamil film a shot? Priya Prakash Varrier’s Oru Adaar Love and Rakul Preet Singh’s Dev will be releasing on the over-commercialized day of love.
That infamous wink scene
Remember the wink scene between two teenagers in a classroom? That short clip was from the Malayalam film Oru Adaar Love. The scene went viral, and Priya acquired 6 million Instagram followers overnight. As a result of this, the filmmakers changed the script and had to reshoot part of the film, hence the delay.
Well, the film is finally here, and the Tamil dubbed version will be released in Malaysia. We wonder how many veriyans will journey to the cinema just to relive that wink scene!
The newest Tamil dream team
Apparently, Karthi and Rakul shared such incredible chemistry during their first project together, Theeran Adhigaram Ondru. This led to the pair being cast for Dev, directed by Rajath Ravishankar.
Veteran actor Karthik, Prakash Raj, Vamsi Krishna and Ramya Krishnan will also be starring in this film, which has music composed by Harris Jayaraj. Not bad, huh?
We say, forget the overpriced sets at that uppity restaurant, and head to the nearest cinema for a Tamil movie!
