Last year, one of our very own talents, Vanessa Cruez made everyone proud by being the sole Malaysian rep for a surviving reality show.
In this regard, the talented Malaysian actress, Vanessa Cruez who made a surprising wild card entry to the reality show, has been recognised by the Malaysian Book of Records for being the first to participate in the ‘Survivor Tamil Reality Show’.
Hosted by Action King Arjun, this reality-cum-drama show, which was airing for the first time in South Indian television history, saw these exceptional celebrity competitors enduring months in the gorgeous Zanzibar islands of the African coast, surviving against the forces of nature for 91 days.
Despite being a wild card contestant, she persisted in battling her best in every game, which enabled her to clinch the second runner-up spot. Actress Vijayaletchumy was crowned as the title winner in the grand finale while actor Saran became the first runner-up.
Being the one and only Malaysian participant in the South Indian television show, Vanessa has set her own benchmark, garnering fans for her bubbly, straightforward, tenacious and bold character.
Taking to her social media account, she conveys her gratitude for receiving this honourable recognition.
The 26-year-old said “A day to remember. Having my whole family with me to receive The Malaysia Book of Records. It was a surprise for them as I never told them about it until they announced it on stage,” noting that she is honoured to receive this much-respected recognition as she carries the pride of every single Malaysians in this record while expressing that this reality-cum-drama show is a life-changing experience for her.
Vanessa also conveyed her sincere gratitude to everyone who supported her throughout the entire journey.
