It’s never too late to celebrate a champ’s triumph.
Our former Malaysian cricket player, Harinder Sekhon has again proved that unflinching dedication and constant effort can be worthwhile. On 15th October, Harinder Sekhon yet again carved his name in the world’s history book for the second time by succeeding in the highest seated jump.
The 31-year-old athlete marked an impressive spot in Guinness World Records by setting the Highest Seate Box Jump at 1.52 metres (4ft 11.84inch tall) in Shah Alam, Selangor.
Prior to this amazing feat, Harinder smashed the World record for the Highest Standing Jump with one leg at 1.384 metres (4ft 6.5in tall) on 23rd May 2021. Furthermore, he also owns a national record for the Highest Standing Jump at 140 cm (55 in tall) which he broke on the 15th of March 2021.
Taking it to his own Instagram account, Harinder took the opportunity to thank all of the people who had supported him along the way.
Months of hard work, sacrifice & dedication! On to the next one now! 🚀 – Harinder Sekhon
A teacher by profession, Harinder is now gearing up to set another record in the first quarter of 2023 for a long jump.
