Popular actress Laila will be reentering Tamil films with the upcoming thriller Alice. The film will be headlined by Raiza Wilson. Sources say that Laila will be playing a supporting role.
Alice is Yuvan Shankar Raja’s second production, his first being the incredibly successful Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, also with Raiza Wilson. Alice will be directed by Mani Chandra, who was a co-director on Pyaar Prema Kaadhal.
Recently, a picture of Laila and actors Prasanna and Karthik Kumar with director Priya went viral on social media, with the team hinting at a sequel to their 2005 romantic comedy, Kanda Naal Mudhal.
Laila took a break from acting after her marriage to Irani businessman Mehdin in 2006. Looks like Laila is making a full fledged comeback into the Tamil film fraternity, and we couldn’t be happier for her!
