February is known for being a month dedicated to and all about love. To celebrate this love-filled month, Astro sets to bestow their customers with not one but double lovely treats.
All the customers can enjoy more premiering local Tamil shows this 14 February, including game show, Kadhal Cafe and romance telemovie, Aboorva Kaathal on TV, Astro GO and On Demand.
Kadhal Cafe
Hosted by renowned local talents, Vikadakavi Magen and Vanessa Cruez, local Tamil game show Kadhal Cafe features popular social media influencers who turned into real couples including Raynesh and Mimmie; Nashvin and Nikita; and Varma and Dhurga.
The couples will share their love stories and also participate in various fun-filled tasks including a lie detector test, re-enacting romance scenes from films and more.
On top of it, a real-life elderly couple will join the show to share about their romantic and marital relationship along with some valuable advice to the young couples.
Kadhal Cafe premieres on 14 February, 9.30pm on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202).
Aboorva Kaathal
Additionally, customers can also look forward to local Tamil romance telemovie, Aboorva Kaathal starring Jee Kutty, Subashini Asokan, Mohan Raj and Nandu Ramesh.
Directed by local talent, Jaykishen, the story revolves around Aboorvan, a dwarf man, who falls in love with a young doctor, Roja who doesn’t believe in marriage due to her tragic past. However, fate unites Aboorvan and Roja in a marital relationship and Roja finds out something awful about Aboorvan after their marriage.
How Aboorvan upholds his marital relationship and whether love blossoms between the couple forms the crux of the story.
Aboorva Kaathal premieres on 14 February, 10pm on Astro Vaanavil (Ch 201).
