“Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family.” – Kofi Annan
Everyone knows the importance of education in today’s era. Its like a magic door that makes you to reach your dream. In light of that, four bright Malaysian students have a chance to unlock such a dreamy door.
Raenuga Indran along with Jit Lee Woon Kiat, Nur Irdina and Lua Pei Ling has been selected to join the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Academic Fellows to the United States to participate in the exchange programme.
The Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) is U.S. government’s signature program to strengthen leadership development and networking in Southeast Asia. Through a variety of programs and engagements, including U.S. educational and cultural exchanges, regional exchanges, and seed funding, YSEALI seeks to build the leadership capabilities of youth in the region, strengthen ties between the United States and Southeast Asia, and nurture an ASEAN community.
U.S. Embassy Kuala Lumpur took their social media platform to congratulate the four brilliant students who have been chosen for this programme.
“Congratulations and safe travels to our Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Academic Fellows, Raenuga Indran, Jit Lee Woon Kiat, Nur Irdina and Lua Pei Ling as you head to the United States to participate in your exchange program,”
“We wish you the absolute best at Arizona State and the University of Nebraska, Omaha!” they stated.
We hope they will impart what they learn from this exchange programme to the coming generations, as it can be a vital resource of knowledge for our future generations.
Good luck on this big endeavour, everyone!
