“What makes a child gifted and talented may not always be good grades in school, but a different way of looking at the world and learning.” – Chuck Grassley

School holiday activities that turn out to be fruitful for this young prodigy.

Amirthaa Matiwannan, an 8-year-old lass, has stamped her name in Kalam’s World Records (KWR) for being the FASTEST TO IDENTIFY 254 WORLD FLAGS in the least time of 4 minutes and 21 seconds. With this incredible feat, she creates a brand new record under her name in Kalam World Records.

This little Penangite’s feat of identifying more than 200 names of world’s flags has also been approved and verified by three major platforms such as Kids World Records (Canada), International Books of Records and Jackie Book of World Records.

Speaking to the mother of four international record holder, Shalini Mathiwaannan expressed that she is so proud of her daughter’s achievements.

Further delving into how her daughter caught the interest in achieving such a feat, Shalini said during the holiday she wanted her kid to do something beneficial, and Amirthaa discovered the spark in her in getting to know the names of the flags. The fascinated mother said that Amirthaa was able to memorise and identify the names after just a few days of learning them.

The enthusiastic kid, who has good memory skills, is also a talented pianist and has always been keen to take part in online competitions.
