We all know that Sai Pallavi is known for her no-makeup look in her movies, but did you know that she follows two more NO-NO rules too?

Sai Pallavi became a huge sensation with her debut film, the Malayalam movie Premam. Upon the film’s release, everywhere people were chanting “Malar”. That was how she impacted the viewers through her Malar character in that film. Following that, she has always delivered her best in every movie she has committed to, and she has now become one of the most accomplished actresses in South Indian cinema.

Apart from her brilliant acting skills, Pallavi is also known for her simplicity, humbleness, graceful dance moves, and natural look. Today, May 9, which marks this talented actress’s birthday, we will unveil her THREE STRICT NO POLICIES, which she follows for every movie.

🙅🏼‍♀️No Lip Lock Scenes

Sai Pallavi had a strict no-kissing policy in her book when she first ventured into this field. When she receives such scripts for films, she likewise rejects them.

Asking about why she doesn’t want to have such a scene on the screen, the actress remarked “I want my whole family to watch a film. I don’t want to make them feel embarrassed by being part of lip locks. It’s a conscious move not to be part of onscreen kissing.”

Adding to this, Pallavi said he wants to make it worth the while of her quitting her career in medicine and choosing to act. “I have left my medicine to pursue a career in films; so I need to justify it by taking up roles that I can enact. I can’t sport skimpy clothes because I cannot carry myself in such attire. I am not against such attire, but it’s just that I can’t pull it off,” she emphasized.

She did share a brief lip kiss sequence with Naga Chaitanya, surprising her admirers in the hit movie Love Story. The actress, however, claimed that it was just the camera position and that they didn’t actually kiss.

🙅🏼‍♀️No Minimal Attire

Sai Pallavi was often seen wearing sarees, ethnic outfits, and maxi dresses. The actress adheres to a strict no-short-dress code both on and off camera. Pallavi said that she comes from a family, where her father was a government employee and do not wear shorts to be comfortable. “I am not comfortable wearing skimpy clothes or even short dresses. I feel quite uncomfortable and it shows on my face. There was a scene in Fidaa where I had to wear one because the scene demanded it, and you can see how restless I was,” she said.

🙅🏼‍♀️No Makeup

In the field where everyone choose the glamour, Sai Pallavi chooses to be a free-makeup actress. She doesn’t use any makeup at all, both on or off camera. One of the reason people adore her is for her natural beauty where she follows to go with it from her first film. “I think, it’s maybe the person that I am. I don’t know the other side of how it might feel. Maybe there’s a lot of pressure to look perfect and I’m not saying makeup doesn’t help. If it makes you feel confident, you should do it. I feel confident this way and I think I’m doing fine.” Pallavi proudly said. She is an epitome to many young girls that they do not need make up to look beautiful.

Happy Birthday Sai Pallavi!
