For the thirteenth year in a row, Sekreteriat Kebudayaan Mahasiswa India (SKMI) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) is pleased to announce their Malam Irama Penyayang. This year’s concert will be different in that it will raise money for the IJN Foundation, specifically to help pay for the treatment and surgery of five young patients who recently underwent surgery. The concert is scheduled to take place this weekend at Dewan Canselor Tun Abdul Razak (DECTAR), UKM, on May 28.
The main purpose of this concert is to use music to unite people around a worthwhile cause. This benefit concert will help make a long-lasting impression on the general public and continue to support the five friends in leading healthier and happier lives.
The Malam Irama Penyayang XIII is honoured to present Singer Krish, a well-known Indian recording artist, along with a few of our own homegrown artists, Darkkey , Balan Kash, and Zubir Khan, who are all renowned for their musical skill and alluring stage presence. All attendees to the concert can expect a night filled with songs from each artist’s well-known playlists.
“I understand and empathise with children seeking medical expenses, especially those with severe conditions, as a father of a young girl. I am thrilled to be a part of this show because I would love to support a cause that is important to me. I’m thrilled to be performing this weekend because this concert is very dear to my heart’‘ said Krish, a well-known Indian artist.
The primary goal of this concert is to raise money through the sale of concert tickets for children who are born with heart problems or diseases. As a result, UKM [University Kebangsaan Malaysia] would like to direct their contribution to the IJN Foundation, a non-profit organisation that provides financial assistance to underprivileged heart patients receiving treatment at the Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), a renowned heart healthcare facility in Malaysia.
As we all know, Krish is a well-known performer who was named Best Male Playback Singer at the Edison Awards India. Balan Kash is a well-known performer in her hometown with a captivating stage presence. Legendary musician Darkkey is renowned for his electrifying performances. A widely recognised performer with a commanding presence on stage is Zubir Khan. The group of artists is ready to provide their audience with a deeply intimate and promising experience. Kyra the Band and renowned local DJ Dasz will perform in addition to this stellar lineup.
